In Switzerland, more precisely in Olten, a little, yet traffic-ologically quite central town in North-Western Switzerland, two training events on Knowledge Engineering topics will be held in November and January. The first half-day event is a presentation with demos, giving an introductory overview of the domain of Knowledge Engineering. It is addressed to those, who are quite new to the topic, strategists, decision makers, architects, but also IT developers, ontologists and terminologiests, who are interested in the "big picture". In the second full-day training, participants will make their own first hands-on experiences with Semantic Web technologies. It addresses practitioners, engineers; those, who are in charge to deliver solutions. Organizers of these events are <a href="https://www.die.wissens.in.gen.ieu.re">"Die Wissens-Ingenieure"</a>. Further announcement details are to be found <a href="https://www.die.wissens.in.gen.ieu.re/conventus/exercitium/index.en.html">here</a>. Depending on the audience, the language will be German or English. For many of you, these trainings would carry coals to Newcastle. But it would be great, if you would forward this announcement to colleagues, who may benefit from it. Best regards, Markus PS: If you would like to see a similar event at another point in time or another location, please give the organisers a note.
