  Open Position for Researcher in Semantic Web

Web Science is a novel discipline at the intersection of various 
sciences. Their shared goal is to better understand the web and its 
users and develop new technologies for the web. The Institute for Web 
Science & Technologies (WeST) conducts research on web retrieval, social 
web, semantic web, and interactive web.

The Institute for Web Science and Technologies offers the following 
position as of the next possible date:

*Scientific staff member in the area Semantic Web (Post-Doc)
(full time, 13 TV-L)*

The position is initially time-limited to 3 years and 9 months. 
Time-limitation is based on the regulations of the German WissZeitVG 
(Gesetz über befristete Arbeitsverträge in der Wissenschaft).

Main Tasks: Contribution to theproject Koldfish 
<https://west.uni-koblenz.de/en/research/projects/koldfish> and research 
in the area of Semantic Web, supporting the Institute WeST in its 
international Master Program in Web Science, teaching.

Requirements: Very good Master’s degree in computer science or adjacent 
discipline, acquired from a University or a similar. Applicants with a 
PhD or a highly qualified Master's degree are preferred. We expect 
expertise in Semantic Web, interest in interdisciplinary research 
questions, experience in teaching, intercultural competence, outstanding 
analytical skills and very good English skills.
