Research Associate Semantic Web and Natural Language Processing Starting date: As soon as possible Duration: 1 year renewable up to 2 years Deadline for Application: Open until Filled The Research Group in Computational Linguistics, Synalp/LORIA [1] in Nancy (France) is looking to fill a two-year researcher position starting as soon as possible. The position is available in the EU funded ModelWriter project [2] and is concerned with exploring connections between the semantic web and natural language processing. The successful candidate will work on semantic parsing (mapping text to e.g., RDF data) and natural language generation (mapping e.g., RDF data to text). For more details, see http://www.loria.fr/~gardent/job-add.html Prerequisite is a PhD degree or a Master in computational linguistics, computer science, or a related field. Candidates are expected to have some knowledge of natural language processing and solid programming skills. Knowledge of English is mandatory and prior experience in machine learning or in semantic web technologies is a plus. There are no teaching obligations.
