Deadline for Application: Open until Filled

The Research Group in Computational Linguistics, Synalp/LORIA [1] in Nancy
(France) is looking to fill a two-year researcher position starting
as soon as possible.

The position is available in the EU funded ModelWriter project [2] and is
concerned with exploring connections between the semantic web and
natural language processing. The successful candidate will work on
semantic parsing (mapping text to e.g., RDF data) and natural language
generation (mapping e.g., RDF data to text). For more details, see
http://www.loria.fr/~gardent/job-add.html

Prerequisite is a PhD degree or a Master in computational linguistics,
computer science, or a related field. Candidates are expected to have
some knowledge of natural language processing and solid
programming skills. Knowledge of English is mandatory and prior experience
in machine learning or in semantic web technologies is a plus. There
are no teaching obligations.

Please send applications (a single PDF file containing a motivation
letter, CV, list of publications and research statement) by email to
Claire Gardent [3] (claire.gardent@loria.fr). Applications received
by April 15, 2015 will receive full consideration. The position is
open until filled. For further information, send an email to Claire
Gardent (claire.gardent@loria.fr).
