The Insight Centre for Data Analytics at NUI Galway (previously DERI)
has several open positions at the Professorial or Senior Lecturer
Level in the Semantic Web and Linked Data space:
The successful candidate will be expected to perform a leading role in
NUI Galway’s Insight Research Institute and will lead a team of
post-doctoral and postgraduate researchers. S/he will act as the
scientific investigator on a number of key Insight projects and will
provide leadership and research supervision to the members of his/her
research group.
We are particularly interested in people with the following research
areas related to the Semantic Web and Linked Data:
Internet of Things, Cyber-physical Systems, sensor-based information
systems, large-scale distributed systems, Data Science, middle-ware,
Knowledge Discovery, Visualisation, Natural Language Processing.
Insight at NUI Galway is with currently 120 people on the largest
research centres in the Semantic Web and Linked Data space.

We are also looking for iconic Semantic Web/Linked Data researchers
who are interested and competitive to win a 5 Million Euro Grant from
Science Foundation Ireland. This will also be associated with a
Research Professorship.
