We are pleased to announce the release of Callimachus 1.4.0. Callimachus 1.4.0 can be downloaded at http://callimachusproject.org. Callimachus is a Web application server for publishing and consuming data from across the public Web or behind the firewall. Specifically, Callimachus is useful for rapidly creating templates for data-driven Web applications. Using a Web browser, developers can rapidly create Web and mobile applications that make dynamic queries. Users can navigate, manage, visualize and re-use Web content, either on the public or behind the firewall, in ways they cannot with traditional Web content management platforms.
