BBC Research & Development in London is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in machine learning for a permanent position. The role is part of the Internet Research & Future Services team, who are based in Euston in a shared research lab with University College London. We are particularly interested in applicants who have a background in the automated extraction of metadata from audio, video and text and who have both the research skills to develop machine learning algorithms and the technical ability to implement them. A keen interest in the Semantic Web is also an advantage as many of our projects take an SW approach to data structuring/navigation/presentation.
