Hi Atilla, I think Foundations of Semantic Web Technologies (Chapman & Hall/CRC Textbooks in Computing) : http://www.amazon.com/Foundations-Semantic-Technologies-Textbooks-Computing/dp/142009050X is a really good book for a course in Semantic Web Technology and applications. I used it during my course work in grad school and was very easy to understand and has good coverage. I worked extensively with Dr. Pascal Hitzler during graduate school, but my recommendation is solely based on the quality of the material.
