We have a vacancy for a KTP associate on a new project with a local Oxford company Global Water Intelligence. Oxford Brookes University and Global Water Intelligence Knowledge and Business Systems Architect (KTP Associate) Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, according to qualifications and experience This is a fixed-term contract for 24 months. Background Global Water Intelligence is the global leader in high-value business information for the water sector. Its analytical reports and in-depth topical articles are essential reading for those who need a clear understanding of the rapidly expanding global water industry. The company has grown over the past decade from two employees to nearly 50 employees, spread across three international offices. The role This post offers a unique opportunity to combine your technology knowledge with your business understanding, to transform the capabilities of Global Water Intelligence. Working under the supervision of cross-disciplinary specialists at Oxford Brookes, you will be based at Global Water Intelligence's headquarters in central Oxford. You will lead a Knowledge Transfer Partnership that applies knowledge technologies to organisational re-design, solving practical problems in information management and cross-media publication. You will be identifying and implementing solutions which deliver strategic impact. The candidate You will have a good first degree (2:1 or above) in computer science or a cognate discipline. You may also have a postgraduate degree in knowledge management or an MBA. You will be skilled at designing, developing, delivery and deployment of software solutions. You will be skilled at communicating across discipline boundaries; demonstrating awareness of linked data and the semantic web.
