Dr. John Breslin of the College of Engineering & Informatics and the INSIGHT
Centre for Data Analytics at DERI in NUI Galway has a PhD vacancy in the
following research topic:
Social Semantic Web Observatory
* The aim of this project is to collect social semantic data from the
thousands of social spaces exposing social data in semantic formats, to
enable better-targeted search and analysis, plus intelligent reuse and
integration across spaces.

Applicants should have an excellent primary degree in computer science,
computer engineering, mathematics or computationally-focused social science.
A master's degree and previous publications would be a benefit. Please email
