Resources Estimation

Dear list readers,
I need to estimate costs of setting up a sparql endpoint. The estimation 
should be parametrized by the size of the ontology, the queries 
frequency and the average and maximum answering times. I wonder if there 
are some studies and/or standard methodologies for this task.
