[ANN] Release of Apache Jena TDB 0.9.0

We are pleased to announce Apache Jena TDB 0.9.0-incubating, the first 
release of TDB under the Apache License, and the first release that 
provides ACID transactions.

== About This Release

The main new feature in this release is ACID transactions.

There is no change in on-disk file format - existing databases continue 
to work and can be used with transactions.

* There is a single file download is called
     "jena-tdb-0.9.0-distibution" (zip and tar.gz)

* Maven artifacts are now org.apache.jena:jena-tdb

* The java packaging under 'com.hp.hpl.jena' remains
   the same in this release.

* Java 6 is now required

== Status

Apache Jena is an effort undergoing incubation at the Apache
Software Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Apache Incubator PMC.

Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a
further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications,
and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent
with other successful ASF projects.

While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of
the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate
that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.
