2 PhD positions @ KIT: Learning + Semantics

Two fully funded Doctoral Researcher @ Institute AIFB, KIT, Germany. PhD students are hired as Scientific Staff.

We are seeking applications from individuals with a very good Masters degree (or equivalent) in computer science (or related) and background and research interest in at least one of the topic areas Graph Mining, Statistical Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Text Mining, Formal Knowledge Representations, Semantic Technologies. Further, we require general competencies that qualify you for scientific work, active participation in research projects and assistance in the guidance of students and lecturing. Both positions require advanced English language skills; one requires German.

The Knowledge Management research group at the Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB) is an interdisciplinary team of computer scientists and related disciplines and among the leading international institutions in the field of semantic technologies.
