Thanks for the pointer! We share some goals with several other 
de-centralisation oriented initiatives such as Diaspora*, Pagekite, 
Unhosted or OwnCloud. Freedombox was not part of this list yet but is 
surely a worthwhile addition.

The specific focus on this workshop is set on Semantic Web technologies 
and we will apply them to educational software during the hacking 
session. However, this workshop is organised in the context of a larger 
initiative of bringing (Open Linked) data sharing to people that 
currently don't have access to it. The site 
http://worldwidesemanticweb.wordpress.com/ has been created has a common 
space to think around this goal. Everyone working on related topics, 
including all these previously mentioned projects, is very welcome to 
come at the workshop to present their ideas and are also welcome to 
contribute to the blog later on.
