Pls see blog post http://blog.sindice.com/2011/06/14/sindice-ltd-established-his-12-billion-triples-sparql-endpoint/ as a side effect ... now every web of data site* can be said to hava a free sparql endpoint... :) Add this to the widespread use of popular vocabularies eg goodrelations or schema.org and you get a pretty much universal data access API, which works uniformly for any website (but of course it's more than that since you can dojoins across sites). On behalf of the team Gio * as long as compliant with Sindice supported practices for data publishing e.g a sitemap + rdfa will do great. Other formats also supported.
