Sorry for cross posting. ------------------------ CALL FOR ABSTRACTS / PAPERS : Semantic Web Track of the 35th IEEE COMPSAC http://www.compsac.org/ July 18-22, 2011, Münich, Germany ================ * Chairs: Atilla Elçi, Toros.edu.tr, and Jeff Z. Pan, abdn.ac.uk * Abstract submission: January 16, 2011 * Full-paper submission: January 30, 2011 http://compsac.cs.iastate.edu/trackdescriptions.php#SW ================ COMPSAC Semantic Web Track invites researchers, practitioners, and educators to present recent findings, innovations, theories, experiences, and ideas in all topics related to methods and enabling technologies to allow man, machine, and software to understand the semantics of application data (such as Web data), in order to be able to automatically integrate data from difference sources, to perform actions on behalf of the user, and to search for information based on its meaning rather than its syntactic form. Topics of interest include models, formats, notations, tools, and technologies intended to provide a formal description of concepts, terms, and relationships within a given knowledge domain; technologies enabling people creating data stores on the Web, building vocabularies, and using ontologies and rules for handling linked data. Papers on all aspects of linked data, vocabularies, ontology, query, inference, and vertical applications of semantic web technology are welcome. ===================================================================================== SUBMISSIONS Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers as well as industrial practice papers. Simultaneous submissions to other publication venues are not permitted. Detailed instructions for electronic paper submission, panel proposal, fast abstract, and review process can be found at http://www.compsac.org/. The length of the camera-ready accepted papers will be limited to 8 (IEEE Proceedings style) pages, and printed with 10-12 point fonts. Please follow the IEEE Computer Society Press Proceedings Author Guidelines (http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formatting) to prepare your papers. Paper manuscript should not contain author identification in order to ensure the double blind review process. Paper submission site is at http://myreview.cs.iastate.edu/COMPSAC2011. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to pay full registration fee to the conference. Each accepted paper must be presented in person by one of the authors. At least one Best Paper Award and 1-3 Best Student Paper Awards will be presented by COMPSAC 2011. Arrangements are being made to publish sets of the best technical contributions to reputable journals. The first author of the best student papers must be a full-time student. All registered papers will be published in the electronic proceedings by the IEEE Computer Society, indexed through INSPEC and EI Index and automatically included in the IEEE digital library upon presentation in the conference. ===================================================================================== IMPORTANT DATES Jan 16, 2011: Abstracts due Jan 30, 2011: Full manuscripts due Apr 2, 2011: Author notifications May 2, 2011: Final camera-ready submission May 2, 2011: Author registration ===================================================================================== Warm greetings, Season's Greetings and Happy New Year! /Yeni yiliniz kutlu olsun! / Счастливого Рождества!
