Note, del.icio.us is a pretty global bookmarking system. It has lots of 
utilities that make the act of bookmarking convenient. Even better, 
making Linked Data representations of bookmark collections is something 
a number of RDFizers offer (including the Virtuoso Sponger and the live 
instance at URIBurner.com which puts its stuff in the LOD cloud).

Why don't we use del.icio.us to tag items as we discover them? The 
system even helps you identity the best tag (i.e., those in use by others).
