Hello All, This is my first post to this group (please be gentle :-) ). I am pleased to announce JSON Datasets[1] a way to extract RDF from any HTML document using JSON. My motivation began a year or so back I noticed that the semantic web was becoming far to complex and obtrusive to be simple to use in HTML. I have seen far too often authors use RDFa, Microdata and Microformats in a document that only describes their contact information, I can only describe it as a semantic overload. So another way, an unobtrusive Semantic Web. JSON Datasets uses a HTML Query Syntax which uses a few simple descriptive terms which are a little like CSS to describe the contents of a html document. JSON Datasets can also be linked to in the head of your document just like a css stylesheet. A html document is parsed along with a JSON Dataset, and the results are outputted as yummy RDF. Please visit the link below to find out more, there are plenty of examples, a bookmarklet and a download of the whole project. [1] http://weborganics.co.uk/dataset/ Thanks -- Martin McEvoy
