The Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL in Birmensdorf (Zurich) is 
offering a

PH.D. POSITION SEARCHING THE SEMANTIC WEB SPATIALLY

The successful applicant will develop the theoretical foundations and an 
implementation concept for an application to process spatial queries in 
colloquial terms, explore its implementation as a software artifact and 
publish his/her results in an international scientific context.

The successful applicant will be associated with the Dynamic and 
Distributed Information Systems Group (Professor Abraham Bernstein, Ph. D, 
<http://www.ifi.uzh.ch/ddis/>). He/she will be enrolled as a Ph.D. student 
at the University of Zurich.
