Ontotext is pleased to announce the release of version 3.3 of
SwiftOWLIM, which can be downloaded from:
http://www.ontotext.com/owlim/swiftowlim-3.3.zip
This release brings some functionality in line with what is offered in
version 3.3 of BigOWLIM, hence the synchronisation of the version numbers.
Included in this release are the following updates:
o Support for OWL2-RL (without consistency checks)
o Improved user documentation with new quick start guide
o The partialRDFS flag has been deprecated
(this functionality is achieved using separate rule-sets)
o Ontologies can be imported from a URL
o Better integration with the Java compiler when using custom rule-sets
Many bugs have been fixed in this version, the most significant of which
are:
o Incorrect handling of transactions (out of order updates)
o Getting statements from an invalid context returns the full dataset
o Clearing a single context clears the whole repository
o Rule 'C a Class => C rdfs:subClassOf Thing' rule not working
