The stuff that has not been adopted is several times definitely not useless: its just not properly worked out and supported with examples, tools query languages etc. So people either walked away from RDF or did something ad hoc.. almost nobody has reused RDF data in the open so nobody noticed or cared etc. Now things ar edifferent there are big out there deployments e.g. goodrelations social networking data etc. I'd propose to orderly find, discuss (with data producers and tool producers) and revise these less simple, definitely less supported parts in light of requirements out there and lets get clear simple documentation out.
