[sorry for cross-posting] FIS2010: CALL FOR TUTORIALS ***** 3rd Future Internet Symposium 2010 September 20-22, 2010 | Berlin, Germany http://www.fis2010.org ***** In addition to the regular research and workshop program, FIS2010 aims to feature a tutorial program that complements the main conference by providing state-of-the-art background material and addresses the interests of practitioners that wish to learn new technologies. Tutorials may be either for a full day or a half day, and should cover topics related to the Future Internet. We encourage organizers to incorporate hands-on sessions where appropriate. Tutorial Organization Upon acceptance the tutorial organizers will be responsible for * producing a "Call for Participation" for the tutorial * producing and distributing all technical material to be used for teaching the tutorial (slides, notes, technical papers, software, etc.) * preparing and maintaing a Web site that describes the tutorial and includes all relevant information (URL to be submitted to the tutorial chairs no later than July 5, 2010) The FIS2009 Organizing Committee will support the tutorial organizers by * providing publicity for the tutorial on the conference's Web page and through additional dissemination channels * providing logistics facilities for the tutorial at the conference venue including hardcopies of the tutorial slides PROPOSAL SUBMISSION Proposals should be 1000 to 1500 words long (i.e., up to 3 pages) and must include the following: * Tutorial title * Tutorial abstract (up to 200 words) to be published on the FIS2010 Web site * Tutorial description, including aims, presentation style, full- or half-day, target audience, and relevance to FIS2010 * Tutorial outline and schedule * Special audio-visual, technical or other room requirements * Information on presenters, including name, affiliation, email, telephone, expertise, experiences in teaching Please submit tutorial proposals by email to the tutorial chairs until May 23, 2010.
