During the implementation phase of the Rule Interchange Format (RIF), the Working Group discovered a problem with the design of the Production Rules Dialect. This problem is addressed with a new Last Call Working Draft [1] that changes the way actions are handled to more closely match existing production rule engines. Please send comments and RIF implementation reports [2] to public-rif-comments@w3.org. -- http://www.w3.org/News/2010#entry-8721 Also, folks, please keep telling us how your implementations are coming! One spot we're particularly missing right now is anyone reporting using RIF and the OWL Direct Semantics together. There's a spec [3], and some test cases [4] , but no one has reported trying it yet. -- Sandro [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2010/WD-rif-prd-20100211/ [2] http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/How_to_Submit_an_Implementation_Report [3] http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/SWC#OWL_Direct_Semantics [4] http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/Category:RIF-OWL_Combination
