Hi Everyone, I'm an MS student at one of the developing countries, that is, Pakistan. I'm conducting my research on the migration of existing web to the semantic web. I had an idea of using microformats for this purpose and automating the process. Unfortunately, to continue with my research, I'm unable to find the relevant description on why this method (or a similar one) is not used before. I've built up a strategy in my mind which is automatically converting the static text on an HTML page to microformats. The problem I'm facing is that I'm unable to find the relevant research work in this direction e.g. why there isn't any automatic strategy there for this purpose already or why the automatic creation of meta data has not been looked into. I'm ready to discuss my strategy with you so that we could see if things look fine till this point. I'm done with the initial stuff as what semantic web is, what is grddl, foaf and rdfa. This is the point where I'm stuck. I don't find any relevant strategy to compare my work to. Can you suggest something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. -- Regards Saba Arslan Shah
