National ICT Australia (NICTA) is Australia’s ICT Research Centre of Excellence. NICTA brings together world-class researchers and professional staff to enhance their skills and build a culture of entrepreneurship and achievement in use-inspired research. This will build Australia's ICT capacity into the future. Position: Web 2.0 Social and Professional Interoperable Networks (SPIN) - Researcher Social Networks and Professional Networks, like FaceBook and LinkedIn, have been a true phenomena of the Web era. Capitalizing on the “Web 2.0” buzz, they have provided innovative spaces for web users to interact and share personal and professional information and experiences.
