Following from the successful event in 2008 the Future Internet Symposium (FIS2009) provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss the key issues in the areas of networks, services, security and trust, multimedia and Internet of things related to the design of a new network able to fully meet the needs of citizens, business and government in the 21st century.

 

This year's program covers three invited talks with speakers from the EU, Deutsche Telekom and the Open University, tutorials and workshops, presentations on research papers, a panel discussion on the topic "cloud computing" and a poster session followed by an evening reception.
