*Not* being sober usually helps obtaining a much clearer picture of 
things when it comes to business and social events etc.

The weird thing is this oversimplification comes from great attention to 
  detail, something sober people usually avoid. Makes one wonder what 
group of people should be considered sober ;-)

I know this is irrelevant but I couldn't resist.
