Purl.org offline?

Dear all:

At least from two testpoints in Germany and Austria, the whole purl.org 
service seems to be currently unavailable. I cannot fetch any purl-based 
vocabularies and documentation at the moment, e.g. neither

http://purl.org/ontology/po/

nor the main page

http://www.purl.org/

work. E.g.,

curl -I -L  http://purl.org/ontology/po/

returns

curl: (52) Empty reply from server

Does anybody have any information on this?

I assume many SW-related applications will run into trouble fetching 
files today if this problem persists.
