What Ben said... ...a key part being that HTML itself already supports typed links using the rel and rev attributes. When used with a Meta data profile reference [1], the document can be interpreted as explicit data following the mechanisms found in the shiny new GRDDL Recommendation [2]. As with RDFa, it effectively allows HTML to be used as Yet Another RDF serialization. I'm sure there are others, but similar relationships to those you describe appear in the VoteLinks microformat [3] (which is begging for some XSLT) and a maintenance-long-overdue vocab I put together based on IBIS (Issue-Based Information Systems) [4].
