Some of you may have noticed that, in the past few months, the Semantic Web Locationary (http://www.pipian.com/rdf/places/) has been down, with a curt message to the effect that it would return at a later date. I am proud to announce that I have finally finished revising it, such that it now depends more closely on the data at GeoNames, and is much more interoperable with it (to the point that it shares the geonameids). It's still very much under construction, but it does feature a few things that Geonames does not (notably built-in search and administrative-subdivision codes, rather than relying on separate search services, as well as built-in nearest-airport data). Feel free to tool around with it and leave me feedback. -- Ian Jacobi
