We are going to have the second event of the semantic web interest group in silicon valley on March 14. This event "The Tortoise vs the Hare - Ontology vs Folksonomy" is again hosted under the emerging tech SIG of SDForum. Timothy Redmond of Stanford will explain how and why Protege is so successful, and Jeff Pollock of Oracle will explain the business motivations for investing in ontologies, and why the market for ontology-based products is so much larger than the market for folksonomy-based products. See event web page<http://www.sdforum.org/SDForum/Templates/CalendarEvent.aspx?CID=2065&mo=3&yr=2007>for more information. Hope to see some of you on the event. Let me know if there is any question. -- AJ Chen, PhD Palo Alto, CA http://web2express.org
