+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ International Workshop on Collective Intelligence on Semantic Web (CISW 2007) IEEE/WIC/ACM Joint International Conference on Web Intelligence and Intelligent Agent Technology (WI-IAT'07) Silicon Vally, USA, November 2-5, 2007 http://intelligent.pe.kr/CISW07/ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++ Scope of the Workshop +++++++++++++++++++++ Semantic web environment has been evolving. Especially, collective intelligence is a key issue to collaboratively share knowledge and even generate new knowledge. Many Web 2.0 platforms (e.g., blogs and wikis) have been developed to exchange meaningful information and support user-centered tasks on a variety of domains (e.g., e-learning, e-commerce, and e-government). Local knowledge should be annotated into a large amount of contents including not only simple documents but also multimedia data. For example, collaborative tagging (e.g., del.icio.us) can play an important role of knowledge (or information) sharing between peoples on social networks. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners in areas of knowledge and intelligence, semantics, and grid computing to share their visions, research achievements and solutions to real applications, to resolve the challenge issues and to establish worldwide cooperative research and development. +++++++++++++++++++++ Topics of interests +++++++++++++++++++++ - Ontology mapping and merging - Context and ontologies - Semantic social networks - Collaborative tagging on Web 2.0 - Semantic and knowledge grids - Applications and case studies ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Instructions for Authors ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Potential participants are invited to submit full papers (not exceeding 4 pages in length, in IEEE Computer Society's 2-column conference proceedings format), by June 20, 2007. The formatting instructions, and LaTeX style files and WORD templates can be found at here. The manuscripts should be submitted electronically using the Easychair electronic submission system. Each submission will be reviewed by at least two program committee members. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by August 2, 2007. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Proceedings and Post-workshop Publications +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Extended versions of selected papers may be published in a special issue of a journal or an edited book.
