Hi Chlara & All -- One approach is to clarify the various ways in which the word "semantics" is used in connection with the Web, with Logic, and with the real world meaning of English phrases. There's a proposal to name these Semantics1, 2, and 3 respectively. It's summarized in www.semantic-conference.com/program/sessions/S2.html and described in more detail in www.reengineeringllc.com/A_Wiki_for_Business_Rules_in_Open_Vocabulary_Executable_English.pdf In particular, making the three kinds of semantics work together in one system appears to be useful. Hope this helps. -- Adrian Internet Business Logic (R) A Wiki for Executable Open Vocabulary English Online at www.reengineeringllc.com Shared use is free Adrian Walker Reengineering
