Call for Participation: SABRE Conference on SOCIAL SEMANTIC WEB (CSSW 2007) http://aksw.org/cssw September 26–28th, Leipzig, Germany ________________________________________________________________________ Program: http://sabreconference.wifa.uni-leipzig.de/frontend/media/program/CSSW.pdf Early registration is extended till September 1st: http://sabreconference.wifa.uni-leipzig.de/frontend/index.php?page_id=189 The aim of the Conference on Social Semantic Web is to provide a podium for exploration of Social Software concepts for the bootstrapping of the Semantic Web and lifting Social Software to the semantic collaboration level. CSSW aims at combining three different perspectives on the Social Semantic Web: the business and entrepreneurial perspective focusing on the added value of specific social semantic web applications, the technical perspective enabling and supporting the exploitation of the “swarm intelligence” of social networks and the social perspective, which explores motivations, benefits and emergent effects of the Social Semantic Web. CSSW aims to bring these three perspectives together, to widen existing horizons, to create novel ideas and to find new ways of understanding this emerging field. PROGRAMME The event runs as a two day sub-conference of the Conference on Software, Agents, and Services for Business, Research and E-Sciences (SABRE) from September 26-27 and comprises presentations of 9 full and 5 poster and demonstration peer-reviewed papers. In addition, CSSW also includes a keynote by Kingsley Idehen on “Hello Data Web – Exposing the Data Web”, a panel discussion, further late-breaking demo and poster presentations and a special session with 4 papers from the collaborative research project SoftWiki - Distributed, End-user Centered Requirements Engineering for Evolutionary Software Development. PARTICIPATING In addition to attending talks and discussions the conference programme leaves some room for late breaking poster and lightning presentations. Please send a short summary of your talk or poster presentation the organizers no later than September 10.
