IEEE HotWeb'06: Call for Participation (and Call for Posters and Demos)

IEEE HotWeb'06 Call For Participation

First IEEE Workshop on Hot Topics in Web Systems and Technologies
Boston, Massachusetts, USA
November 13-14, 2006

HotWeb is a forum that brings together researchers and practitioners
interested in the design, implementation, and evaluation of Internet
systems and applications. It seeks to act as a conduit for the
presentation of novel approaches used in support of performance,
scalability, and security of Internet applications, including Web
searching and indexing, content distribution and delivery networks, Web
services, and edge and grid computing.

HotWeb'06 will feature 17 peer-reviewed technical presentations
organized in eight sessions. In addition HotWeb'06 is planning panel
discussions and special poster and demo sessions focusing on the
workshop's themes. For the preliminary program, please check HotWeb'06
Web site at

IEEE HotWeb'06 Call for Posters and Demonstrations
HotWeb 2006 is expanding its program by seeking posters and live
demonstrations that show the impact of internet systems and technologies
on actual end-user experience. Whether or not you have a paper in the
technical session, if you have a system that pushes the state of the art
of web infrastructure, interactivity, or design please consider
presenting a poster or a live demo at HotWeb 2006. Authors of accepted
posters and demos will be expected to give a short introduction of their
work during the technical program, followed by presentation of the
poster or live demo on the demo floor for attendees to see later.
