Technically, the phenomenon is called HABOM (Hype and Buzzword Oriented Management). For further documentation, see http://www.dilbert.com We have discovered a very simple solution to the Prolog problem: compile Prolog into Java bytecodes, deliver the results in a jar file, and tell the Pointy-Haired Bosses that it's Java.
