A similar approach to the 206 response code (207 Partial Triples) could be chosen so that caches not supporting vocabulary-negotiation must not cache the response. Another issue for caches is multiple serialization, if the response is a graph a cache could cache the triples and deliver any serialization the client requests. However the cache should be told if what matters is the graph or if the resource represented is in fact an rdf/xml document where serialization idiosyncrasies, comments, etc. do matter . reto
