Dear Steffen:

There at least two relevant papers dealing with ontology modularization:

1) Fabio Porto, Stefano Spaccapietra: Ontology Modularization (I think it
was ISWC 2005)

2) Alan L Rector: Modularisation of Domain Ontologies Implemented in
Description Logics and related formalisms including OWL
K-CAP'03, October 23-25, 2003, Sanibel Island, Florida, USA. pp 121-8

Hope that helps :-)

Best wishes

Subject: splitting ontologies

what is the best way to split an ontology file? I do not like to have all
information sit in one big file.

Best regards,
