I had a post last year on this mailing list where I argued that owl:sameAs is equivalent to a functional, inverse functional, transitive and symmetric relation. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/semantic-web/2005Feb/0024 Henry PS. Why is there no mail "Permalink:" or "Alternate:" header that would contain a URL pointing to the location of the archive in which the mail is located? This would allow one to search one's mail locally and find the archive location of the mail quasi automatically.
