Hi folks, I’ve updated the colors in the diff markup to be a little less saturated so that the text is easier to read. And then over lunch, I tinkered with further improvements. I noticed that the change markup (in our case at least) is almost always exclusively on spans of text. I wrote some JS code to percolate those changes “up” the hierarchy. I also add a 6px right border as a pseudo-changebar when the change percolates up to a p, div, li, etc. I thought that I’d have to do something clever to make it perform well enough to be useful. But I didn’t and it seems ok. To me. Please send up a flare if it causes any noticable delays. Be seeing you, norm -- Norm Tovey-Walsh Saxonica
