Would this group consider, as an additional work item, the formal specification of an RDF schema for the XPath and XQuery Data Model (XDM) 3.1 [1]?. This could be considered a long-overdue update of the original RDF schema for the XML Information Set [2][3]. One use case is to standardize a graph transformation path from RDF to (non-RDF) XML. The initial graph transformation to XDM could be specified by SHACL Rules[4] or SPARQL CONSTRUCT queries [5]. The RDF/XML representation of the XDM graph is easily converted to native XML with generic XSLT templates.
