Dear members of the XSLT Working Group, I'm relaying the announcement to the Group's primarily public mailing list, to notify the group of its charter extension. Best regards, Xueyuan -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: XSLT Working Group Charter Extended Date: Mon, 11 Sep 2017 16:00:21 +0800 From: Xueyuan <xueyuan@w3.org> To: w3c-ac-members@w3.org CC: chairs@w3.org Dear Advisory Committee Representative, Chairs, The XSLT Working Group charter [1] is hereby extended until 30 April 2018. The Working Group completed many W3C Recommendations over the years [2] and completed the XSLT 3.0 update in June 2017. Following a discussion in the Advisory Board on the maintenance of W3C Recommendations earlier this year, for now, the best approach is to do maintenance in the WG, and extending the WG to allow that. As such, the Working Group is only allowed to make corrections that do not add new features [3] to its Recommendation(s) under this charter extension with very minor team resources. More information about the XSLT Working Group can be found on its home page [4]. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Liam Quin <liam@w3.org> or Carine Bournez <carine@w3.org>, XSLT Working Group Team Contacts. This extension follows section 5.2.5 of the W3C Process Document: https://www.w3.org/2017/Process-20170301/#charter-extension Thank you, For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director, Philippe Le Hégaret, Project Management Lead; Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications [1] https://www.w3.org/XML/2015/05/xsl-charter.html [2] https://www.w3.org/TR/tr-groups-all#tr_XSLT_Working_Group [3] https://www.w3.org/2017/Process-20170301/#correction-classes [4] https://www.w3.org/Style/XSL/
