I should have mentioned another restriction: Saxon-JS does not yet work with Microsoft browsers (IE or Edge). You don't need to install anything to make it work. One limitation I'm aware of is that it can't handle files containing non-BMP characters (e.g. format-date). It doesn't attempt a complete rendition of every aspect of the test suite, but gives most of the information you need most of the time.
