I would appreciate a quick decision on the name of the new serialization parameter so that we can get it into XSLT 3.0. Agreeing the semantics is less urgent. After the various suggestions mooted during the telcon, I think I’m inclined to suggest: “line-ending”. (The XML specification speaks of “end-of-line”, but that might be misinterpreted as a comment on the state of XML technology…) Michael Kay Saxonica
