Hello folks, I’m pleased to announce that the XProc editorial team have decided to publish a second “last call” draft of the language specification[1]. Appendix M[2] summarizes the significant changes since the February last call draft. We’re making good progress towards getting the standard step library[3] into last call as well, but we aren’t quite going to make it this year. Implementation is going well[4], but it is still turning up areas where the specification is open to differing interpretations. Be seeing you, norm [1] https://spec.xproc.org/lastcall-2019-12/head/xproc/ [2] https://spec.xproc.org/lastcall-2019-12/head/xproc/#changelog [3] https://spec.xproc.org/master/head/steps/ [4] https://test-suite.xproc.org/implementation.html -- Norman Walsh Principal Engineer MarkLogic Corporation Phone: +1 512 761 6676 www.marklogic.com
