If you are interested in participating in work to progress 'XML Normalization' [1] to Recommendation please indicate so on the list, especially if you are working on an implementation. I believe we would use 'Test Cases for Canonical XML 2.0' [2] as a test cases starting point. My expectation is that this work would happen in a W3C working group other than XML Security, such as XML Core, but to succeed there needs to be adequate participation. Your information on participation and interest would be helpful in determining the timeline for interop and moving this work through LC/CR to REC. I believe some members of the WG said they would look in their organizations to see if they have teams working on XML that would be interested in participating. If you have results, please indicate on the list or let me know privately. Thanks regards, Frederick Frederick Hirsch, Nokia Chair XML Security WG [1] http://www.w3.org/2008/xmlsec/Drafts/xml-norm/Overview.html [2] http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/NOTE-xml-c14n2-testcases-20130618/
