I have prepared drafts for publication as W3C Notes anticipating publication on 17 January (assuming this works for the team). The updates include updated references for the various publications planned for that date (these Notes and the PR drafts). The drafts include the following: • "XML Security 1.1 Requirements and Design Considerations" [1] (W3C WG Note - completion of work, previously published as WD) • "XML Security Algorithm Cross-Reference" [2] (W3C WG Note - completion of work, previously published as WD) • "XML Security Generic Hybrid Ciphers" [3] (W3C WG Note - no further development planned on REC track, previously published as CR WD) I updated the status section as part of preparation for publication, as well as the abstract and introduction to make the informative status clear. • "XML Signature Best Practices" [4] (W3C WG Note - updated, previously published as W3C WG Note) I revised the examples to clean up the formatting, moving the source into separate example files. In the process I fixed a mistake in the first example (adding a missing closing element) and moved the links to the associated files to the text preceding the examples. • "Functional Explanation of Changes in XML Encryption 1.1" [5] (W3C WG Note - updated, previously published as W3C WG Note) I have updated the roadmap to indicate the plan to publish these [6]. Please review these documents, especially the examples in the Best Practices and indicate on the list if any corrections are needed. Thanks regards, Frederick Frederick Hirsch Nokia [1] http://www.w3.org/2008/xmlsec/Drafts/xmlsec-reqs/2013-01-NOTE/Overview.html [2] http://www.w3.org/2008/xmlsec/Drafts/xmlsec-algorithms/2013-01-NOTE/Overview.html [3] http://www.w3.org/2008/xmlsec/Drafts/generic-hybrid-ciphers/2013-01-NOTE/Overview.html [4] http://www.w3.org/2008/xmlsec/Drafts/best-practices/2013-01-Note/Overview.html [5] http://www.w3.org/2008/xmlsec/Drafts/xmlenc-core1-explain/2013-01-Note/Overview.html [6] http://www.w3.org/2008/xmlsec/wiki/Roadmap#The_following_steps_are_planned_for_XML_Security_1.1
