XML Encryption 1.1 references the 2007 NIST SP800-56A publication, Recommendation for Pair-Wise Key Establishment Schemes Using Discrete Logarithm Cryptography; http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/nistpubs/800-56A/SP800-56A_Revision1_Mar08-2007.pdf As of August 2012 this document has been updated, with the title containing "(Draft Revision)": http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/drafts/800-56a/draft-sp-800-56a.pdf Shall we update the [SP800-56A] reference in XML Encryption 1.1 or should we be concerned about the "Draft Revision"? The changes noted in Appendix D of SP800-56A seem to be corrections, improved error and security advice and clean up, thus I think we should update the reference. Please indicate if you agree with the change or have any suggestions or concern. regards, Frederick Frederick Hirsch Nokia
