RESOLUTION: Minutes from 14 December are approved.

Topic:  XML Signature 2.0

WG discussed proposal for adding conformance section to XML Signature 2.0, as proposed in
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xmlsec/2010Dec/0075.html  

scott: Reminder to add Selection Algorithns to 2.0 conformance, includes XPath profile. Verification Algorithms need to be added as optional.

Discussion of whether SHA1 should be MUST NOT for 2.0 Mode (as proposed) or not given rate of adoption of SHA2. Proposal is that compatibility mode can be used if necessary, but transition away from SHA1 should be encouraged for 2.0 mode.

Tentative agreement. Scott Cantor to check with regards to implementations, in particular Red Hat.

ISSUE: why is base64 listed in algorithms section, is this for transform? where is it described in document, and does this belong in 1.1 or 2.0 mode. (ISSUE-224 added)

fjh: Rationale for streaming provided, suggest we put in requirements document

hal: requirements are known to be refined as work progresses so ok to update document

general agreement to add to requirements document.

ACTION fjh to put new section in 2.0 requirements regarding rational for new XPath profile based on Pratik's proposal (ACTION-754 added)
