We had decided a while ago that work on randomized hashing would be a topic for XML Signature 2.0, not for 1.1. The last summary on the topic is this note from Brian from October 2008 (a year ago): http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xmlsec/2008Oct/0033.html During the call today, no volunteer to address this issue materialized; at the workshop in 2007, position papers on the topic had been submitted by IBM and IAIK. If nobody in the WG is prepared to take up this issue, we will have to close it due to lack of interest. If you want to see randomized hashing addressed in XML Signature 2.0, then this is the time to speak up. Thanks, -- Thomas Roessler, W3C <tlr@w3.org>
