Thomas, All, We support the creation of a new "XML Security WG" with a scope as described in this draft [Charter] and intend to join the group should it be created. One comment - as you know, the latest draft of the Web Application Formats WG's [WAF] Widgets spec [Widgets] includes the use of XML Signature for Widget Signing. Given this proposed WG should include significant XML Signature expertise, perhaps its charter should mention this liaison opportunity with the WAF WG.
